Educational Field Trips


School field trips are offered weekdays in conjunction with the Farm Bureau Ag In The Classroom program.  Field trips begin at 9:30 am by reservation only.  Cost is $5.00 / student.  The school will need to supply adult chaperones / teachers for each 6 – 8 children (no charge for chaperones).  The field trip can include any or all of the following:  a presentation relating to agriculture, dairy farm tour, maze adventure, feeding the goats and a hayride back to the pumpkin patch to pick a pie pumpkin and gourd for each student.  Call to make a reservation.

 Hands-on learning experiences are always best when students have been prepared for what they are about to encounter and are able to then discuss what they learned afterwards. We are pleased to offer our Classroom in the Corn learning series to make your field trip more exciting and memorable ... as well as a better learning experience.

These Teacher Resource Guides are broken into separate grade ranges and each include: activity goals, National Curriculum Standards, preparation required, materials needed, worksheets, and step-by-step instructions.
